Every single person to whom we’ve administered the CSA has been enthusiastic about the results, saying how accurate it is in capturing his/her current situation. And going over the Report always results in the question “Can we talk more about this again?”. We even have workers asking to take it on a yearly basis!
We’ve used the CSA not only for assessing on-field cultural adjustment, but also to get a baseline before they go to the field. We also administer it to those returning to their home country, even for shorter periods of time, to help assess their reverse cultural adjustment. I just took the test and skimmed the results. I love that I can download the file for future assessment and that I can make clear goals and refer back to it. How the results were compiled and explained makes sense to someone without ‘testing experience’. The testing layout was easy to use. Not a huge list of questions but a manageable size at a time. I appreciate being able to type in personal areas throughout the testing. It was pretty clear cut and understandable. I would love for our whole company to do this and review together. Christian Veterinary Mission is a professional personnel-sending organization which places veterinary professionals with like-minded agencies around the world where a veterinarian can fill an important niche in community development and gospel outreach in livestock-based societies.
